Fat Bandit Bikes – 1 Year Warranty
We build Fat Bandit bikes to be ridden and enjoyed. Every Fat Bandit electric bike is backed by a 12-month limited warranty, giving you confidence from day one.
What’s Covered
Fat Bandit Bikes warrants the original purchaser that the bike will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers:
- Frame (excluding cosmetic finish)
- Electric motor
- Battery
- Controller and electrical components
- Display and wiring
- Factory-installed parts
What’s Not Covered
Like all bikes, some things are part of normal wear and tear. This warranty does not cover:
- Tyres, tubes, brake pads, chains, cassettes, grips, or bearings
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper assembly
- Water damage or corrosion
- Unauthorised modifications or electrical tampering
- Normal cosmetic wear (scratches, fading, paint chips)
- Commercial use or rental use
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your Fat Bandit bike has a warranty issue:
1. Contact your local authorised Fat Bandit dealer
They are best equipped to inspect the bike and assist with repairs or replacements.

If you bought your bike online, don’t have access to a local dealer, or need additional assistance, contact our team directly at:

Please include:
- Proof of purchase
- Bike model and serial number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or videos if possible
Important Notes
- Warranty claims must be assessed and approved before any work is carried out.
- Fat Bandit Bikes reserves the right to repair or replace parts at its discretion.
- Replacement parts may be new or refurbished where appropriate.
- This warranty is not transferable and applies to the original owner only.
Your Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
